Near North Customs Brokers Expand to Meet Customer Demand

The addition of George A. Gray Customs Brokers operating out of the Sudbury area provides a full range of customs brokerage and freight forwarding services. As well, the establishment of a US Customs Office based in Buffalo, N.Y. in mid 2007 will capitalize on synergies developed between George A. Gray and Near North to provide customers with an essential cross border transmission facility, providing superior data transfer in the freight management process.

Manitoulin Extends Terminal Network to Support Road Service to Alberta

Terminal construction in Calgary expands our western coverage and is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance service and meet customer demand by increasing the size, speed and reliability of our network.

Manitoulin Increases Footprint in Western Canada

Rainbow Transport Ltd. is a dominant carrier in the Alberta region, providing transportation services from Calgary and Edmonton to points in Northwestern Alberta and Northeastern British Columbia. Rainbow has been serving northern communities and companies in Northern Alberta and British Columbia with overnight delivery services from major centres.

The acquisition of Landing Transport adds 4 key terminals in Athabasca, Red Earth Creek, Slave Lake and Wabasca to the Manitoulin network enhancing our services to customers in the Athabasca Oil Sands Reserves of Northern Alberta.

CEO Doug Smith named to Canada's Highest Order of Canada.
